[ here is rex, in the kitchen, very loudly banging through all the various cupboards he can find!! ]

Uuuggh, seriously?! How does this place not have any food either?! How are we supposed to survive like this?

[He's so valid? Probably. Monika stops short of the kitchen's threshold as she stumbles across all this ruckus, a set of questionable veggies and fruit in her arms.]

Huh? There's nothing left at all?

Aside from that stuff and like, a few really suspicious looking cans of veggies? Nada.

[She frowns, putting the produce down on a counter to go look at the cans.]

Well... Yomiel said not letting us starve to death is in their job description, so... [Maybe. Maybe there's enough between here and the other kitchens in the city.] I'm sure we can make something good with some creativity?

Well if they don't want us to starve to death, maybe they should give us some actual food.

Besides, there's a lot of wiggle room between "starving to death" and "not getting horribly sick," and I don't wanna explore it. Especially not with bathrooms this rundown. [ shudders ]

Ahaha... I guess that's fair. The stomach can be, like, so sensitive, right? And everyone's been pumping theirs full of strange food for almost two weeks now. I'm surprised we haven't exploded yet.

Right? I'm no picky eater, and it's not like I've got a sensitive stomach, but come on. [ waves his arms around the barren kitchen ] This is ridiculous!

It is pretty bad... I guess, at least, we can fish and forage other foods?

[Pointing at one of them. It is very glowy.]

[ stares at the glowing fruit for a few moments ]

...yeah, they're probably okay then. Suriel seems like they wouldn't lie about that.

Ahaha, well, I hope not! That would be pretty bad...
