[ Rex waltzes into the hotel lobby later on in the day, after their town hall, and saunters over to van Zieks, leaning against him while using his shoulder to prop himself up. it's a lil awkward, because van Zieks is taller than him, but Rex is not one to back down from a challenge. ]

So, how's the head count going? Figure out who our victim was? Or victims.

[ Well. Here's Rex by the cave, just. Kicking mushrooms and pebbles and dust at it. Amparo is also here, in hawk form, just kinda. perching a few feet away and watching him with a vibe somewhere between apathy and judgement. ]
