I guess. I know some places have their own local EVO handling groups other than Providence too, so--
[ haha hey wouldn't it be convenient if, in just normally changing his pose, switching what leg he's putting his weight on, he manages to brush up against another shard on the ground or something?
And with that, they're plunged into another memory--one that's initially foggy with the haze of sedation, but that quickly becomes clearer. (14:37 - 16:03) Not all of the words are understandable, blurring into those damn otamatone warbles, and not all of the action is evident either, but hindsight is 20/20, and even if in the memory you're distracted and confused, the broad strokes are clear in the reliving of it--at least at first.
By now it's clear there's a battle around you. The green and the white ones are fighting over him, the entire lab is blaring a warning signal for some reason, and you're still on the table. You've broken out of the straps, but you still can't move, body seizing and stiffening with electrical currents. Lightning arcs out of you and it's--it's--it's painful but it's not, it's more than you can handle--and you don't understand what it even is. You don't know why this is happening or how--sure, you could cure those monsters earlier, but that's nothing like this--like parts of your body suddenly turning into machinery against your will, against your understanding--
The man in black and white approaches the table and, oh, whatever fight was going on must have finished, then. You don't know what the outcome was.
"Wha...what's happening to me?!" you cry.
The man has no answer for you but a cold, stern glare. It's then, in that moment, you realize he's holding the green man's sword. And for all that you're panicking already, terror floods your veins as you understand, he's going to kill me. He's going to kill me right here.
You're going to die here, slaughtered in this mysterious lab, your body betraying you, and you haven't the slightest idea how you got here or who you even are. ]
