[ well, that was a dramatic morning full of murder mystery intrigue. Rex trudges over to the hotel lobby, which i assume has at least one couch because what the hell else is a lobby for, and decides to flop down onto it. he spent all night sleeping on a rooftop, he wants a damn cushion for a minute.

too bad he doesn't get cushion, he gets Girl

Rex flails and loses his balance, tumbling off the couch and onto the floor in a very dignified manner. ]

because here a-qing is, already tired from her curfew misadventures and subsequent town hall meeting, trying to take a dingdang break and some fool comes along and sits! on her!! like she's a ghost blending into the furniture! ]

[ when Rex enters their new room to start getting ready for sleepytimes, he immediately notices two things:

a naked bed

and a blanket nest in the corner ]

Hey! You can't just take all the blankets, what gives!

[ that's a muttered curse from the floor, the burrito blanket quickly sliding into a blanket empanada. ]

[ he grabs onto the outermost layer of blanket and YANKS ]

[ jumps back at the SHEER VOLUME but does not relinquish his grasp on the blanket! so in effect all she's really done is get him to yank more blanket away from her, gj ]

[ that's because she was sleeping on the floor the last few weeks. that being said, a hand is getting thrust in his face to distract him so she can roll herself into the blanket and away from him ]
